WALTER has not only become one of the longest-reigning champions in the history of the company and the longest-reigning champion in NXT UK, he has truly become the face of the brand.
WALTER become the NXT UK Champion by defeating Pete Dunne at the NXT Takeover: New York Event back on April 5th, 2019, which was during WrestleMania 35 weekend. Prior to becoming the longest-reigning NXT UK Champion in history, Pete Dunne, who held the title before WALTER, held the record of becoming the longest-reigning NXT UK Champion after beating Tyler Bate to become the inaugural champion in January 2017 for 685.
Since becoming NXT UK Champion, WALTER has shown his dominance by defending his title against Rampage Brown, Joe Coffey, Ilja Dragunov, Tommaso Ciampa, and Pete Dunne.
