Game Changer Wrestling (GCW) previously announced that top AEW Star and GCW World Champion Jon Moxley will be making his return to the promotion on Saturday, June 18 for their GCW You Wouldn't Understand Event, which is set to take place from the Melrose Ballroom in New York City, but it was not revealed at the time who Moxley will be facing.
According to Game Changer Wrestling, Moxley will be defending his GCW World Championship against Tony Deppen. Jon Moxley has been the reigning GCW World Champion since he defeated IMPACT Wrestling's Matt Cardona at GCW's Art Of Games Event last September 4, 2021. Jon Moxley last competed for Game Changer Wrestling at their Joey Janela Spring Break 6 Event last March 31, when he faced and defeated AJ Gray in Singles action. Moxley's opponent, Deppen is a former GCW Extreme Champion as well as a former ROH World Television Champion.
