During last night's episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, a massive match took place between Kofi Kingston and Drew McIntyre, with the winner set to challenge Bobby Lashley for his WWE Championship at the WWE Hell In a Cell PPV. The ending of the match saw a Double DQ decision be made when MVP and Lashley hit the ring and attacked both competitors.
Later in the broadcast, WWE official Adam Pierce announced that next week on RAW we will see McIntyre and Kofi face each other once again in a rematch from last night, with the winner being named the new #1 Contender for Lashley's WWE Title at the Hell In a Cell Event. A stipulation was also made that if Lashley or MVP interferes in the match next week, then the WWE Champion will be suspended for 90 days without pay.
