IMPACT Wrestling President Scott D’Amore has been involved in a feud and getting physical with IMPACT Wrestling Hall of Famer Bully Ray for quite some time now and this week's episode of IMPACT on AXS TV was no different. Last night's episode of IMPACT Wrestling saw Scott D’Amore make a huge announcement that he is taking a leave of absence from his executive duties in the promotion after he got physical with Bully Ray at their Against All Odds PPV Event and Bully filing an official complaint with Anthem Sports & Entertainment. This would then lead to Bully and Steve Maclin attacking the IMPACT President until PCO made the save.
An announcement was then made shortly after that IMPACT Wrestling President Scott D'Amore will return to the ring at IMPACT Wrestling's upcoming Slammiversary Event for the first time since November 2022 in his hometown of Windsor when he teams up with PCO to battle Bully Ray and Steve Maclin in Tag Team action. Scott D’Amore began his wrestling career in the early 1990s and has made appearances for WWE, WCW, ECW and the NWA. His last regular match took place in 2004, but he has competed in a few matches in 2006 and 2008, then again in 2016, 2018 and 2020. D'Amore's last match was a 5-on-4 Handicap Match in the main event of IMPACT’s Throwback Throwdown III Event in November of 2022.
IMPACT Wrestling Slammiversary is set to take place on Saturday, July 15th from the St. Clair College Sportsplex in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
