MMA legend Josh Barnett recently took to his Twitter and announced that former WWE Star John Hennigan is set to face pro wrestling legend Simon Gotch at the Josh Barnettβs Bloodsport 8 Event on Thursday, March 31st, which is part of GCW's The Collective. Hennigan, who was previously announced to make his appearance on the show, returned to in-ring action on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at AAA Rey de Reyes after being released by WWE in November 2021, where he competed under the new name John Superstar.
Matches already announced for Bloodsport 8 include Minoru Suzuki taking on Chris Dickinson in Singles action, Jon Moxley facing Biff Busick in a Singles Match, Ninja Mack going up against Yoya in Singles action, Masha Slamovich facing Janai Kai in a Women's Division Singles Match and Alex Coughlin facing Slade in a Singles Match.
Josh Barnett's Bloodsport 8 is set to take place on Thursday, March 31st from inside the Fair Park in Dallas, Texas and is set to stream exclusively on FITE TV.
