Keith Lee and Shane "Swerve" Strickland came up short in their attempt to capture the AEW Tag-Team Championship on Sunday night.
Following the AEW Tag-Team Championship match at the AEW Double Or Nothing 2022 pay-per-view on Sunday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, Keith Lee took to social media to comment on failing in their quest to win the titles.
The match saw the Jurassic Express duo of Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus successfully defend their AEW Tag-Team Championship with a victory over Ricky Starks & Powerhouse Hobbs and Keith Lee & Shane "Swerve" Strickland in the three-way title tilt that served as the co-main event for the fourth-annual AEW DoN special event.
After the show wrapped up, Lee surfaced on his official Twitter page with his immediate reaction to the loss he and Strickland endured.
"2 pay per views.... 2 fails," his reply began to a tweet from the official AEW Twitter feed showing video footage from the match. "The Meteor wasn't enough."
Lee concluded by writing, "The Grind continues."
