Kofi Kingston "Unsatisfied" With SummerSlam Outcome, Says Randy Orton Rivalry Isn't Over

Although he walked out of the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada with his WWE Championship still in tact, Kofi Kingston was not happy about the means in which it happened.

The top dog on WWE's blue brand managed to retain his WWE Championship in his title defense against longtime rival Randy Orton at WWE SummerSlam 2019 on Sunday night, however in a tweet he posted after the show, he made it clear that things between himself and "The Viper" are far from over.

"Am I happy about still being WWE Champion," wrote Kingston after WWE SummerSlam ended. "Of course."

He added, "But I am NOT satisfied with the way the match ended. This thing between Randy and I, is not over. Not by a long shot."

The Kingston-Orton title match ended via Double Count Out at WWE SummerSlam on Sunday night when Orton focused in on Kingston's family at ringside, leading to Kofi going on an all-out rampage on "The Viper" until the two were both counted out.

In addition to SummerSlam, the WWE Champion was also the subject of the post-PPV premiere episode of WWE 24: Kofi Kingston - The Year of Return on the WWE Network last night.

Regarding his new WWE 24 documentary special, Kingston once again surfaced on social media to share his thoughts.

"On a positive note, I’m so proud of my episode of WWE24," wrote Kingston in a second tweet posted after last night's show. "They did such an incredible job of portraying such a powerful and unforgettable adventure."

Kingston continued, "I’m so grateful that the experience is forever documented. Thank you so much to the many wonderful people that made this happen!"
