A Gauntlet Match took place on the February 15, 2021 edition of WWE Monday Night RAW, the winner of that match earning the last entrance into the Elimination Chamber match set to take place at this Sunday's WWE Elimination Chamber 2021 pay-per-view event.
The Gauntlet Match started off with AJ Styles and Kofi Kingston inside the ring. Styles defeated and eliminated Kofi Kingston to go on to fight the third entrant in the Gauntlet, the WWE Champion Drew McIntyre. McIntyre ultimately defeated and eliminated Styles to continue on with the fourth entrant, Jeff Hardy. Hardy brought his A-game, but in the end, McIntyre defeated and eliminated Hardy. The fifth entrant in the Gauntlet, Randy Orton, was ultimately disqualified after a creepy appearance by Alexa Bliss just laughing maniacally on every screen in the ThunderDome had a confused and worried Orton counted out at ringside.
The sixth and final entrant, Sheamus, snuck up behind a very drained Drew McIntyre and attacked as McIntyre watched the stage for his former friend to come down the ramp. Sheamus then continued his surprise attack until the referee forced Sheamus back and asked McIntyre if he could continue to which McIntyre agreed. McIntyre back to his feet and the two proceeded to brawl. McIntyre went for a Claymore to end the match, but Sheamus smacked McIntyre's leg away and delivered a Brogue Kick for the three count pin and win, earning Sheamus the final entrant position at Sunday's Elimination Chamber Match.
