WWE superstar Chad Gable has been out of action since before summer, suffering a shoulder injury that ultimately required surgery. It came at an inopportune time for Gable as he was gaining momentum competing under a mask as El Grande Americano and an injury angle with Penta was run to write him off of storylines.
However, after months of rehab, it looks like a Gable return could finally be on the horizon as pwinsiderelite.com reported today that the injured star is expected at the WWE Performance Center this week as he continues his recovery and works towards a return to action.
In Gable's absence, the El Grande Americano character has continued to move forward with Ludwig Kaiser competing under the mask for both WWE and AAA events, so it remains to be seen when Gable returns, if he will resume that gimmick or end up leaving that for Kaiser on a permanent basis.
