Two More Wrestlers Advance In WWE's "The Last Time Is Now" Tournament; Updated List Of Matches

Two more wrestlers have advanced in the ongoing "The Last Time Is Now" tournament to determine John Cena's final in-ring opponent at next month's WWE Saturday Night's Main Event.

Last night on WWE Raw, Solo Sikoa defeated a mystery opponent - revealed to be former WWE star Dolph Ziggler - while tournament favorite Gunther beat Je'Von Evans. Two more first round matches are scheduled for Friday's Smackdown: Finn Balor takes on Penta and Bronson Reed battles Carmelo Hayes.

Already advancing through the first round and into the quarterfinals are the aforementioned Gunther and Sikoa as well as Rusev, Sheamus, Jey Uso and LA Knight.

In the quarters, Gunther faces the winner of Reed/Hayes while Sikoa faces the winner of Balor/Penta. The brackets for the remaining quarterfinal matches haven't yet been revealed but it will be a pair of matches with some combo of Rusev, Sheamus, Uso and Knight.

As mentioned, the winner of the tournament will move onto face John Cena at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13.
