Prior to last night's episode of WWE Super SmackDown at Madison Square Garden in New York City, which was held inside the world's most famous arena to pay tribute to the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, former WWE announcer Lilian Garcia made her return as she performed the National Anthem.
Shortly after making her return to WWE TV for one night only, Lilian Garcia took to her Instagram and commented on her special appearance. Garcia mentioned how amazing and emotional her appearance was as well as how we must remember those who have suffered and to be united. Garcia then thanked the WWE as well as the fans. Garcia reportedly received a standing ovation for her performance.
Lilian Garcia last appeared for the WWE on the July 22nd, 2019 episode of RAW. Garcia currently works for the Professional Fighters League (PFL) MMA promotion.
