A massive announcement was recently made by MLW that they are currently in talks with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide for a possible blockbuster inter-promotional title match down the line. MLW hinted that the talks with Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide are moving along at an “imminent pace.”
If the talks push through, Laredo Kid will be defending his AAA World Cruiserweight Title in MLW down the line against wrestlers such as MLW World Middleweight Champion Lio Rush, Zenshi, Hijo de LA Park, Ikuro Kwon and Bu Ku Dao.
Laredo Kid became the AAA World Cruiserweight Champion on February 16, 2019, at AAA’s Conquista Total Event in Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico. MLW’s flagship show Fusion airs every Wednesday nights at 7PM ET on YouTube, Fubo Sports and the Roku Channel.
