WWE Files To Trademark Six In-Ring Names Used In NXT

According to recent reports by PWInsider.com and Heel By Nature, the WWE filed to trademark six in-ring names that are currently being used in NXT with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) and those names include, Cora Jade (F.K.A Elayna Black), Zoey Stark (F.K.A Lacey Ryan) and Gigi Dolin (F.K.A Priscilla Kelly).

These trademarks were filed January 19th, 2021, under entertainment services, for use in professional wrestling and were entered into the trademark office database on January 22nd. The WWE also filed the trademarks Duke Hudson, Sareena Sandhu and Rohan Raja.

Gigi Dolin and Cora Jade competed on this week’s WWE 205 Live as part of the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, losing to Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell. Zoey Stark is set to team with Marina Shafir to take on Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon in a first round match.

Below is the use description submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office:

“Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”
