Monday Night Raw Quick Recap for 4/19/2021

Matches Tonight: 8
  • The Viking Raiders defeated Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin in our opening match.
  • Our second match saw Riddle defeat Orton fairly in singles competition.
  • Lana & Naomi defeated Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler in non-title action after Mandy Rose & Dana Brooke taunted Jax into abandoning her partner to go after them.
  • Elias defeated Kofi, fairly I might add, in singles competition in our fourth match of the night.
  • In our fifth match of the night--a handicapped match between Drew McIntyre and T-BAR & Mace, McIntyre won by DQ when T-BAR and Mace defied the ref's orders to keep a tag format. Braun Strowman made the notable save after the DQ.
  • Our sixth match was a tag match between Drew McIntyre & Braun Strowman and the team of Mace and T-BAR. Mace & T-BAR won by DQ after McIntyre ripped off Mace's mask and beat him with the foreign object. After the match, Braun ripped off T-BAR's match. Perhaps their masked days have come to an end?
  • Our seventh match, between the Miz and Damian Priest, saw Priest defeat the Miz despite Maryse's attempt to distract him for a second week in a row.
  • In our eight and main event match between Charlotte Flair and Asuka, Asuka picked up the win with some down-low assistance from Rhea Ripley--payback for Flair's interference last week.
Miscellaneous Non-Match Segments of Note:
  • Our opening segment saw Drew confront MVP, regarding T-BAR and Mace's attack last week. MVP informed Drew that he had nothing to do with that as the Hurt Business decided to downsize. Mace & T-BAR once again attack and pummel the Scottish Psychopath, leaving him down in the ring.
  • Riddle pitched a tag team idea to Randy Orton, suggesting a viper-themed scooter for the Viper and the name "R-K-Bro". Orton walked off.
  • Charlotte Flair cut another heel promo, promising to come after Ripley once she beat Asuka later tonight. Rhea accepted, but said knowing Asuka, she didn't think that was likely.
  • We were treated to an interview with Bad Bunny and Damian Priest right after their WrestleMania match. Bunny was truly honored to have been allowed to take part, and was both very humble and very complimentary regarding Damian Priest's training. Priest told the WWE Universe that Bunny did the hard work for months and exceeded everyone's expectations.
  • MizTV featured Maryse and served to promote both tonight's episode of their show, and to set up a singles match between the Miz and Priest for tonight.
  • Encouraged by Adam Pearce, Sheamus issued an open challenge. He then completely squashed a returning, bearded Humberto Carrillo in and out of the ring before a bell rang. Non-match.
  • After our main event, Charlotte Flair snapped and beat the tar out of the ref--three times, despite other refs begging and warning her off.
