-- The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Lars Sullivan’s release from WWE happened in early January after he had another anxiety attack before television and ended up no-showing just as he was about to begin getting pushed. He then proceeded to miss every show after that and never returned. The report adds that he is under a non-compete clause, which could be “lengthy” and there doesn’t appear to be any interest in him from other promotions and he has also gone on record to state that he is done for wrestling. The Observer speculates though that at some point, Sullivan could be interested in wrestling in New Japan as he was close to KENTA when they were both in NXT and his past incidents would not be as much of an issue in Japan.
