-- Despite following a successful Royal Rumble PPV and an appearance by Edge, last night's Smackdown viewership was down in the overnight markets, generating 2.126 million viewers. This is down from 2.228 million prior to the Rumble and 2.282 million two weeks ago. The hourly breakdown suggested that the show kept viewers very well as the first hour averaged 2.144 million, only slipping to 2.108 million in the second hour. The overall audience though put FOX in last place among the other networks. In the 18-49 demographic, Smackdown averaged a 0.6 rating - the same number it has gotten in each of the last three prior weeks - to finish second on the night behind Shark Tank's 0.7 rating. This placed FOX also second in the 8-10 pm timeslot. In adults 18-34, Smackdown (0.3) once again came in second behind Shark Tank (0.4).
