More on Lesnar's Free Agent Status; News on His Future in Wrestling

-- As reported earlier in the week, Brock Lesnar contractually became a free agent immediately after SummerSlam and WWE’s ability to license and promote his likeness and merchandise ended this week as well. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter writes that the reason Lesnar’s free agent status received no publicity is because it was simply a matter of technicality as WWE was not interested in using him without any big events or even an audience. The strong belief is that at 43 and out of the USADA testing pool, he is not looking at returning to the UFC either and he is out of the price range of AEW as he’s effectively now a “money guy.” Furthermore, Paul Heyman - a big part of his “act” in wrestling, is still contractually obligated to WWE. Most believe that if or when he does return to wrestling, it will continue to be with WWE.
