It was previously reported by Jeff Whalen that WWE has decided to move Monday Night RAW Star Naomi to Friday Night SmackDown, but a reason was not given at the time. Since then, it would be revealed that the reason for Naomi's move to SmackDown is due to the women's division in the blue brand being weak, with Bayley being gone for at least 9 months due to a torn ACL.
It was also revealed that WWE has tried to keep couples on the same brand for years now, so that they can travel together and Naomi being on the SmackDown brand means that she can travel with her husband and one-half of the SmackDown Tag Team Champions Jimmy Uso.
There is no word yet on when Naomi will make her move to the blue brand, but updates will be provided once it becomes available. Naomi has been working on the RAW brand since last October.
