Last night's episode of SmackDown saw Zelina Vega walk out with no entrance theme music when she took on a debuting Toni Storm, in a match she lost in quick fashion. A number of fans then took to Twitter and criticized the way Zelina has been booked on SmackDown as of late. Shortly after SmackDown ended, Zelina Vega took to her Twitter and reacted to the fan criticisms.
According to Zelina Vega, Toni Storm's black leather belt distracted the hell out of her, which Storm indirectly used prior to hitting her Storm Zero finisher, now known as Storm One, to secure a pinfall victory. Vega also noted on her Twitter that despite her loss, her bank account didn't lose.
Vega made her WWE TV return on the July 2nd episode of SmackDown, but she has yet to win a match. She lost her return match against Liv Morgan, then lost the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match at the Money in the Bank PPV. Zelina's loss to Storm last night on SmackDown was her third loss since making her return.
You can check out Zelina Vega's tweet below, along with a video of her post-match interview:
1. That belt distracted the hell out of me.. seriously what was that about?!
2. Guess who didn’t lose today? My bank account.
