Last night's NXT TakeOver: Stand And Deliver Night One Event saw MSK (Nash Carter and Wes Lee) become the new NXT Tag Team Champions by defeating The Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake and Zack Gibson) and Legado del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza) in a Triple Threat Match. The finish saw MSK hit a double team maneuver on Gibson, allowing Wes Lee to secure the pin. NXT General Manager William Regal then presented MSK with the NXT Tag Team Titles immediately following the match.
This is the first time for MSK to become the NXT Tag Team Champions. Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan were the NXT Tag Team Champions back on the August 26th, 2020 episode of NXT TV after defeating Breezango, but were forced to vacate the titles last March 23rd after Danny Burch suffered a shoulder injury.
