WWE is preparing to introduce a new character or persona with its latest trademark filing.
On April 25, the company officially submitted paperwork to trademark the name "Jin Tala." At this time, it's not yet known whether the name will be assigned to a new performer, repackaged talent, or used in another creative direction.
The trademark filing covers a wide range of entertainment-related services, including live wrestling performances, televised and online broadcasts, fan club activities, online newsletters, blogs, and community portals—all under the umbrella of sports entertainment.
As of now, WWE has not released any further details regarding the future use of "Jin Tala."
