Bobby Steveson, the brother of Olympic gold medalist and new WWE Star Gable Steveson, who was drafted to Monday Night RAW as part of the 2021 WWE Draft this past month, got his in-ring name changed prior to him making his NXT debut. Last November 4th, WWE filed to trademark the “Damon Kemp” name with the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office).
Bobby Steveson recently took to his Twitter and confirmed that he will be using the “Damon Kemp” name going forward. Bobby Steveson was an amateur wrestler at the University of Minnesota, where he became a two-time Letterwinner and NCAA Qualifier in 2017. This past August, Bobby would then become part of the WWE Performance Center.
