Sheamus beat Riddle during Night Two of WrestleMania 37 to become the new WWE United States Champion. This is Sheamus’ third time to become the United States Champion. Riddle became the WWE United States Champion back at the Elimination Chamber Event on February 21st by winning a Triple Threat Match over John Morrison and WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, who went into the Triple Threat Match as the WWE United States Champion.
