A SmackDown Tag Team Title Match between the SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) and The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) was originally scheduled to take place at last Saturday's WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event, but the match never happened. Erik and Ivar of The Viking Raiders made their way down to the ring for the match, but was viscously attacked by The Usos and the challengers were left laying and the match never got started.
Fightful Select reports that the SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match was never planned to happen to begin with and the attack angle was the original plan all along and it was not due to time restraints as WWE still had a lot of time left for the three hours they allotted for the WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event and they could have just cut portions of the transitional video packages if it was needed.
There is no word yet on when the SmackDown Tag Team Title Match will take place, but the working plan is for the SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos (Jey and Jimmy Uso) and The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) to do the title match on an upcoming episode of Friday Night SmackDown, though nothing has been made official yet.
