WWE legend The Undertaker was announced as the first inductee into this year's WWE Hall of Fame class and there reportedly were plans for The Phenom to appear at Saturday's Elimination Chamber Event, but those plans were nixed. PWInsider.com reports that there were plans for Taker to make a non-wrestling appearance at Elimination Chamber to celebrate his upcoming Hall of Fame induction and The Phenom was supposed to make a cameo appearance, with no angle planned, but those plans didn't come into fruition and there is no word yet as to why the plans were nixed.
Saturday's Elimination Chamber Event did see WWE air a lengthy video package on The Undertaker’s Hall of Famer career, but as his music played and a graphic was shown on the big screen, the fans in Saudi Arabia cheered for him and it seemed like they expected The Phenom to appear due to the loud pop that was heard when his theme music began playing, but that obviously did not happen.
