Nick Wayne's debut with All Elite Wrestling appears to be locked in.
The young emerging pro wrestling star defeated Shane "Swerve" Strickland to capture the DEFY Championship at the DEFY event in Seattle, Washington this past Saturday night.
After the match, Swerve cut a promo where he challenged Wayne, who has split two matches 1-1 with The Mogul Affiliates leader, to a rubber match when he turns 18 years old.
Strickland confirmed that their trilogy bout would be taking place on an episode of AEW Dynamite. The first AEW on TBS television show after Wayne turns 18 is scheduled for Wednesday, July 12, 2023.
