Nikkita Lyons Addresses Whether Or Not Her NXT Return Next Week Is Ahead Of Schedule

As our own David Draiman posted here at early Wednesday morning, Nikkita Lyons is scheduled to make her WWE NXT return on next week's show.

On this week's NXT On USA episode, Lyons was featured in a vignette segment that aired on the show.

The video featured the women's wrestling star working out in anticipation of her promotional return on the June 28 episode of the weekly two-hour program.

Lyons noted in the vignette, "patience is not a virtue -- it sucks," before adding that she is a woman who needs to constantly be moving and always working, because when she wants something -- she simply goes and gets it.

She also mentioned that she is busting her ass in the gym in preparation for her NXT comeback for that very reason, as she isn't interested in "easing her way back in to the mix" in the NXT women's division. Instead, she intends to skip any potential "warm-up matches" in favor of going "balls to the wall."

The NXT Superstar concluded the vignette by giving an official "seven-day notice" to the women's division, as she will be back next Tuesday night.

After the 6/21 episode of NXT On USA wrapped up, Lyons surfaced on social media and responded to a fan who asked if she is returning from injury ahead of schedule.

“Partially torn/sprained MCL," her response began. "Recovery time average is 4-to-6 weeks [folded hands emoji]."

Lyons continued, "Thanks to the amazing medical team, I was able to make a pretty speedy recovery [smiling face with smiling eyes emoji]."
