NJPW recently announced the full card for their upcoming Sakura Genesis Event scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 4th at 4AM ET and it will be streaming live on NJPW World. In the show's main event, IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kota Ibushi will be defending his title against Will Ospreay. Ospreay earned his shot at Ibushi's IWGP World Heavyweight Title when he defeated Shingo Takagi in the finals of the NJPW New Japan Cup Event.
After being out of in-ring action for about eight months, YOH of Roppongi 3K makes his in-ring return when he and his tag team partner, SHO, challenge IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Champions El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru for their IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Championships.
