Karrion Kross has really made a name for himself and has dominated everyone put in front of him since he made his WWE NXT in-ring debut on the May 6th episode of the show, when he defeated Leon Ruff in a squash match. Kross has been groomed as a main event star since he arrived in WWE NXT and he became a champion just 3 months after making his NXT TV debut, when he defeated then-NXT Champion Keith Lee at NXT TakeOver: XXX. Unfortunately for Karrion Kross, he was forced to vacate the NXT Title just 4 days later on the August 26th, 2020 episode of NXT, making his 4 day title reign the shortest in history.
Several months later on the December 9th episode of NXT, Karrion Kross would make his return, when he attacked Damian Priest. At TakeOver: Stand And Deliver Night Two, Kross would win the NXT Title for a second time, when he defeated then-NXT Champion and current WWE SmackDown Star Finn Balor. During his second and current NXT Championship reign, Kross has reached a milestone of becoming the NXT Champion for 115+ days.
Kross made his main roster debut on an episode of WWE RAW a number of weeks ago, when he suffered his first-ever loss to WWE veteran Jeff Hardy. Kross was reportedly slated to suffer a loss to Jeff Hardy for a second consecutive time, but Hardy was pulled from the match and that episode of RAW due to him testing positive for COVID-19. Kross would go on to battle Keith Lee and come out of the match with a huge win. Kross will be defending his NXT Title next against Samoa Joe at NXT TakeOver: 36.
