NXT Championship Match Made Official For NXT's Great American Bash Event

NXT Champion Bron Breakker faced Duke Hudson in an NXT Championship Match during last night's episode of WWE NXT and walked out of the match still the reigning WWE NXT Champion. Immediately following the match, Cameron Grimes would make his way out to confront the NXT Champion. Grimes would challenge the WWE NXT Champion for his WWE NXT Championship at the upcoming NXT Great American Bash, which Breakker accepted. As of this writing, this is the only match announced for the NXT Great American Bash Event.

This is Bron Breakker's second reign as the NXT Champion as his first reign as the NXT Champion began at NXT New Year’s Evil, when he defeated Ciampa in Singles action, but he would lose the NXT Title 63 days later to Dolph Ziggler. Breakker's second reign began after he defeated Dolph Ziggler on the WWE RAW episode after WrestleMania 38. Bron Breakker has since successfully defended his NXT Championship against Joe Gacy at NXT's In Your House.
