NXT Star Toni Storm Will Be Called Up To The SmackDown Brand Soon

Last night's episode of SmackDown featured a teaser video vignette of NXT Superstar Toni Storm, where it was revealed that she is on her way to the SmackDown brand soon. In June 2017, Toni Storm made her WWE in-ring debut during the first-ever Mae Young Classic. She would then end up winning the 2018 Mae Young Classic at the all-women's PPV Event known as Evolution in October of 2018 after signing a deal with the WWE in May 2018.

Toni Storm then became the NXT UK Women's Champion by defeating the current RAW Women's Champion Rhea Ripley at the NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool Event in January 2019 after Toni started working for the NXT UK brand in the summer of 2018. She would then make her return to the NXT brand in October 2020 after taking an 8 month hiatus.

Toni Storm last competed for the NXT brand on the May 18th episode, when she defeated one-half of the brand-new NXT Womenโ€™s Tag Team Champion Zoey Stark in a Singles Match. Storm reportedly worked a dark match prior to RAW this past Monday night, defeating the returning Tegan Nox, who made her blue brand debut teaming with Shotzi Blackheart to take on the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Natalya and Tamina in a Non-Title Match.
