It was previously reported that SmackDown Star Bayley suffered a torn ACL while in a training session at the WWE Performance Center sometime this week with an unnamed wrestler and that she is expected to be out of action for at least 9 months.
Shortly after this depressing and disheartening announcement was made, a number of wrestlers and Hall of Famers took to social media and reacted to the depressing news such as Alexa Bliss, Mia Yim, Renee Paquette, Dakota Kai, Beth Phoenix, Seth Rollins, Charlotte Flair, Dr. Britt Baker, Mickie James, and Asuka.
On SmackDown last night, Bayley, still with her heel persona, cut a promo and blamed the WWE Universe for her injury. As previously reported, the Money in the Bank PPV Event will no longer feature the "I Quit" Match between SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair and Bayley as per Sonya Deville, we will now see Bianca Belair defend her title against Carmella on next weekโs SmackDown.
