-- Many within WWE referenced a "new era" within the company at the two-night WrestleMania 40 event that concluded last night and a Sports llustrated report sheds some insight into a few potential big plans that President Nick Khan envisions.
-- Unlike his predecessor Vince McMahon who dabbled here and there into the international markets, Khan is focused on international growth and several of the WWE's next premium live events will be taking place outside of the United States: France (Backlash), Jeddah (King and Queen of the Ring), Glasgow (Clash at the Castle), Toronto (Money in the Bank), and Berlin (Bash in Berlin) and all this after having recently visited Perth for Elimination Chamber in February. Khan believes this strategy will in turn increase demand in the US markets.
-- Another area of focus for Khan is potentially working with other wrestling promotions, though none was specifically mentioned. This is another area that was almost completely off-limits with Vince running the ship but in recent times, with Khan around, the guidelines around this have been relaxed. The report noted that it was Khan's approval that allowed Triple H to work with TNA to bring in Jordynne Grace for the Royal Rumble.
-- Khan is also looking to expand WWE's intellectual properties into realms that remain untapped, specifically into Las Vegas where it is believed he is looking to install WWE slot machines across the Vegas strip and at airports as an example.
