The Revival Likely Leaving WWE; Dash Wilder Trademarks New Name

— The backstage consensus is that The Revival is done with WWE and the company has also abandoned plans to have them be a “comedy act”, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The comedy act push was supposed to be a way to bury them on the way out. Both Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder’s deals are apparently set to expire in early April, but WWE may extend Wilder’s deal to mid-June due to being inactive as a result of an injury. There is no word on if either would even be included on the WrestleMania card.

— Dash Wilder - real name Daniel Wheeler - has recently trademarked a new name - presumably one he would use after life in WWE. The name he has trademarked is Cash Wheeler for wrestling and merchandising purposes. As noted before, both members of the tag team have been trademarking names over the past few months and have even been in a battle with WWE, who is looking to own some of those trademarks as well.
