-- In this week’s AEW vs. WWE Wednesday night ratings battle, the main event on NXT’s Great American Bash featuring Io Shirai taking on Sasha Banks drew 900,000 viewers compared to only 645,000 for the Kenny Omega & Adam Page vs. Best Friends match that headlined AEW’s show.
-- With the result of next week’s Great American Bash main event apparently leaked after a photo was posted to Instagram following the conclusion of the match, it is unclear if WWE will try to switch things up and there is even a possibility that a second finish was or could be taped. The Observer claims that the WWE office was nonetheless “furious” about the leak.
