Several Additional Matches Scheduled For Next Weekend's WWE Clash In Paris

WWE is set to hold its Clash in Paris premium live event on Sunday, August 31st, at the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre, France. So far, four matches have been confirmed for the event, but it appears that several more are in the works.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE plans to add three more matches to the Clash in Paris lineup, bringing the total to seven matches. The report indicates that these three matches will feature Undisputed WWE Champion "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes defending his title against Drew McIntyre, United States Champion Solo Sikoa putting his title on the line against Sami Zayn, and Women’s Intercontinental Champion "The Man" Becky Lynch defending her title against WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.

Thus far, the confirmed matches for Clash in Paris include World Heavyweight Champion Seth "Freakin" Rollins defending his title against "The Mega Star" LA Knight, a Fatal 4-Way Match with "The Best In The World" CM Punk and "Main Event" Jey Uso, "The Celtic Warrior" Sheamus facing "The Bulgarian Brute" Rusev in a Donnybrook Match, "Big" Bronson Reed competing against "The OTC1" Roman Reigns in a singles match, and 17-time World Champion John Cena taking on "The Maverick" Logan Paul in singles action. Dave Meltzer also noted that WWE's plans are subject to change, particularly with the announcement of WrestlePalooza, which could delay the Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre match until that event.
