Several Matches Set For WWE NXT Great American Bash, NXT Star To Appear

The opening matchup of last night's WWE NXT 2.0 episode saw a #1 Contender's Match take place between Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade vs. Katana Chance and Kayden Carter for Toxic Attraction's Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne's WWE NXT Women's Tag Team Titles. The match ended with Perez and Jade picking up the huge win and they will now challenge Toxic Attraction for their WWE NXT Women's Tag Team Titles at the NXT Great American Bash special.

NXT Star Giovanni Vinci took on Ikemen Jiro in a Singles Match during last night's episode of WWE NXT 2.0 and walked out of the match with the win. Immediately following the matchup, Giovanni Vinci noted that The Great American Bash can not happen without him, teasing he will be appearing on the show.

It was also announced that the WWE NXT Great American Bash Event will see NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes defend his title against Grayson Waller, Wendy Choo will go up against Tiffany Stratton in Women's Division Singles action, Trick Williams will take on Wes Lee in Singles action and current WWE NXT Tag Team Champions The Creed Brothers (Brutus and Julius Creed) will defend their WWE NXT Tag Team Titles against Roderick Strong and Damon Kemp.

WWE NXT Great American Bash is set to take place next Tuesday, July 5 from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
