Singles Match Added To NXT "Takeover: Stand And Deliver (Night One)"

An announcement was made during this week's NXT "Go-Home" episode that a singles match with Kushida vs. Pete Dunne is officially set for NXT "TakeOver: Stand and Deliver (Night One)"!

During NXT this week, which is the final episode leading into next week's two-day action packed TakeOver event, we saw both Kushida and Pete Dunne continue their feud backstage after a weeks long on-going feud.

It didn't stop there as we then saw the feud spill over into the main event match, which was the 11-Man Battle Royal, as Pete Dunne and Kushida were ultimately eliminated at the same time as they wouldn't stop fighting with one another long enough to focus on the competition at hand. The two men eliminated each other at the same exact time as they both went over the top while Kushida had Dunne locked in the hoverboard lock.

Pete Dunne and Kushida are both looking to show that they are the superior technical wrestler at NXT "TakeOver: Stand & Deliver (Night One)" as they are two of the best technical wrestlers currently in NXT. Having been at odds for several weeks now, finally NXT General Manager William Regal came to the decision to put the two competitors in the ring at Takeover as Regal informed announcers that he wanted to see a "technical masterpiece" at Takeover.

As a result of their issues, they will meet in singles competition on April 7 at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.
