Hulk Hogan's widow, Sky, is reporting set to file a medical malpractice lawsuit against following his untimely death last month.
Originally reported by The Daily Mail and corroborated by TMZ, Sky will be taking legal action with the focus being neck surgery that Hulk underwent earlier this year that she feels directly contributed to his death.
According to Sky, Hogan's phrenic nerve was "compromised" during the May operation, leaving him short of breath in the months leading up to his passing. An ongoing investigation looking into this is why Hogan's body has yet to be cremated as it remains at a Clearwater funeral home for the last five weeks. The plan is to cremate him as soon as the investigation concludes, which is expected soon.
The investigation and subsequent legal action was triggered after an occupational therapist at Hogan's home at the time of his death let it spill to police that Hogan's phrenic nerve was severed during the prior operation (Sky states that it wasn't severed completely, but was left damaged) which led to a stoppage in his breathing.
