A recent on-screen pairing in WWE's NXT brand may soon find its way to the main roster if a recent report from the WrestleVotes account turns out to be accurate.
The report suggests that the alliance between WWE NXT North American Champion Ethan Page and former WWE Women's United States Champion Chelsea Green has captured the attention of WWE officials and that internally, there is some interest in bringing up the duo to WWE's Friday Night Smackdown. Specifically, officials have been impressed with the chemistry that the two have shared thus far.
The report added that bringing Page and Green as part of a "newly minted Canadian faction" to the main roster would help to further establish Page as a key player on the brand.
Green return to NXT earlier in August when she came out to align herself with fellow Canadian Page and ever since has appeared as his manager and even as a tag team partner. At NXT Heatwave last week, the two teamed up to defeat Tavion Heights and Tyra Mae Steele in a mixed tag team match.
Hearing several within WWE would like to see the current pairing of Chelsea Green & NXT North American Champion Ethan Page appear on SmackDown in the near future, as their chemistry on NXT TV has impressed many. Additionally, some believe this newly minted Canadian faction would quickly establish Page as a key player.
