16-time World Champion John Cena recently complimented WWE United States Champion Theory and gave him high praises, saying Theory has far more talent, strength and gifts than he ever had and he shouldn't apologize for that. There were also reports that WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon sees a young John Cena in Theory and is very high on the current WWE United States Champion.
Theory, who captured the WWE United States Title from Finn Balor on an episode of WWE RAW a number of weeks ago and who has claimed to be a better WWE United States Champion than John Cena, recently took to his Instagram and teased a possible blockbuster WWE SummerSlam Matchup between himself and the 16-time World Champion. Theory posted a picture of the match graphic between himself and John Cena for a possible WWE United States Title Match, with the caption, “why not?”
John Cena last competed for the WWE at the 2021 WWE SummerSlam Live Event, when he lost to Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. There is no word yet on when John Cena will be returning to WWE, but updates will be provided once it has been made available.
