TKO Reportedly Asking Multiple Wrestlers To Restructure Their Contracts

WWE released a slew of talent last month, citing budget reasons as the deciding factor in trimming their roster. It was later reported that TKO also asked a top wrestler to take a 50% pay cut which he or she agreed to do.

On the flip side, TKO also approached the New Day about taking a pay cut as well and the duo balked, asked for their releases and were granted so, making them eligible to hit free agency in July.

Now, BodySlam+ and Fightful Select both report that TKO has actually been asking multiple talents to restructure their contracts due to the fact that the company views that their compensation does not properly reflect the wrestlers' rate of production. What that would seem to mean is that TKO wants to reduce salaries due to the fact that wrestlers aren't working as many matches as in years past.

BodySlam+ added that another source within WWE noted that TKO continues to look at maximizing revenue for the company as they are still technically in debt due to Endeavor's past.
