TNA Announces Date And Location For Its 2026 Lockdown PPV

TNA Wrestling has announced the return of their Lockdown pay-per-view (PPV) for the first time in a decade, scheduled for Sunday, August 23, 2026, at the Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago, Illinois. This will be TNA's first event held at this arena, formerly known as the UC Pavilion, which previously hosted the WCW Chi-Town Rumble.

In keeping with the tradition of the Lockdown PPV, all matches will take place inside a steel cage. This will be the first Lockdown event since 2016, when the show occurred on February 23 at Wembley Arena in London, England. The inaugural TNA Lockdown event took place in 2005, running for 11 years before being discontinued after the Wembley show.

Confirmed participants for Lockdown 2026 include The Hardys, Nic Nemeth, Mustafa Ali, Moose, AJ Francis, Mike Santana, Steve Maclin, Brian Myers, Eric Young, and Leon Slater among the male competitors, as well as Ash By Elegance, Tessa Blanchard, Elayna Black, and Indi Hartwell from the Knockouts Division.

Match announcements are yet to come. TNA is following up on their recent Rebellion event, which took place last Saturday. Tickets for Lockdown 2026 will go on presale on April 22, 2026, at 10 AM ET, with general sales starting on April 24, 2026, at 10 AM ET, both available at Ticketmaster.com.
