Two More WWE Stars Added To The MITB Ladder Matches At The WWE MITB Event

Last night's episode of WWE Monday Night RAW saw two more WWE Stars be added to the Men's and Women's Money In The Bank Ladder Matchups at WWE's Money In The Bank Premium Live Event. A Men's Money In The Bank Qualifying Match took place during last night's RAW between Omos and Riddle, which saw Omos beat "The Original Bro" Riddle to officially be a part of the Men's Money In The Bank Ladder Matchup. Omos defeated Riddle after hitting him with a two-hand chokeslam.

Omos signed with the WWE in 2019 and would make his WWE TV debut on the June 15, 2020, episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, when he was referred to as the “Giant Ninja” as part of Akira Tozawa’s "ninjas." He would then be part of Shane McMahon’s short-lived RAW Underground before teaming up with AJ Styles to eventually become one-half of the WWE RAW Tag Team Champions. Omos would most recently be paired with MVP in a feud with "The All Mighty" Bobby Lashley. His participation at WWE Money In The Bank will be his debut on both the Men' MITB Ladder Match and the Premium Live Event.

Last night's episode of WWE RAW also saw a Women's MITB Qualifying Match take place between Asuka and Becky Lynch, which saw Asuka beat Lynch to officially be a part of the Women's MITB Ladder Match. The Empress Of Tomorrow and Big Time Becks would also compete earlier on WWE RAW in a Fatal 5-Way Matchup to determine Bianca Belair's new #1 Contender, who would end up becoming Carmella. Asuka won the 2020 Women's MITB Ladder Match, but instead of cashing-in, she was given the WWE RAW Women’s Title by "Big Time Becks" Becky Lynch the night following her win due to Lynch’s pregnancy.

WWE's Money In the Bank Premium Live Event is set to take place on Saturday, July 2nd from inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
