It looks like "The Original BRO" is gearing up for a return to the ring.
As noted, Matt Riddle was among the 25 WWE and NXT Superstars released by WWE following the company's merger with UFC after the acquisition by Endeavor went through and the TKO company officially launched.
Riddle has been relatively quiet following the release, however it appears that he is gearing up for a return of some sort.
The former WWE Superstar, who has been teased for potential MMA fights and other pro wrestling companies, recently filed to register a trademark for the phrase, "King of Bros."
Matt Riddle filed the new trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on October 18. It will cover the category of entertainment in pro wrestling contests, which could be an indication that he hopes to continue competing as a wrestler.
