What Happened After Last Night's RAW Episode Went Off The Air

Immediately following last night's Monday Night RAW episode from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida going off the air, WWE legend and 16-time World Champion John Cena made his way down to the ring to a huge pop from the crowd. As Cena entered the ring, Riddle was still recovering from an RKO from Orton to end the RAW broadcast. Cena then played the role of “Peacemaker” between Randy Orton and Riddle by bringing them together for a group hug.

The opening segment of last night's WWE Monday Night RAW episode saw "The Viper" Randy Orton make his highly-anticipated return and turn down Riddle’s request to resume their R-K-Bro tag team. Orton then faced one-half of the RAW Tag Team Champions AJ Styles in the main event and defeated him, when Orton was helped by Riddle with Omos at ringside.

After the main event, Orton finally agreed to hug Riddle, which the crowd went wild for. As Orton and Riddle were celebrating, Orton raised Riddle’s arm high up in the air, but then put him down with the RKO. RAW then came to a close with Orton smiling from ear to ear and standing tall over Riddle. After the segment featuring Cena, Orton and Riddle, the 16-time World Champion teamed up with Damian Priest for the first time ever and defeated the team of Jinder Mahal and Veer.

Last night's RAW broadcast did not see Cena appear, but as previously reported, Priest appeared as he defeated John Morrison in Singles action and had an exchange of words with WWE United States Champion Sheamus to make their WWE United States Title Match at WWE SummerSlam official. Jinder Mahal and Veer also appeared during last night's RAW broadcast, but did not compete on the show as they just watched SmackDown Star Baron Corbin lose a Singles Match to Drew McIntyre. Corbin appeared on RAW as was part of the quarterly Brand-To-Brand Invitational and he was hired by Mahal to try and take out McIntyre.

There's no word yet on what WWE has planned for Orton and Riddle moving forward, but they are rumored to challenge AJ Styles and Omos for the RAW Tag Team Titles at SummerSlam.
