What Happened Before And After Last Night's Episode Of WWE SmackDown

Prior to last night's SmackDown episode from the Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas, a Dark Match took place between NXT Stars Cal Bloom and Austin Theory, where Bloom defeated Theory. Cal Bloom is the son of former WWE and AWA Star Wayne Bloom, who is most popularly known to the wrestling fans as Beau Beverly of The Beverly Brothers. In March of 2019, Bloom signed with WWE, and Theory has been absent from the WWE NXT storylines since walking out on The Way a number of months ago. This was the first dark match prior to last night's SmackDown episode.

The second dark match prior to last night's WWE SmackDown episode saw Xia Li and Kacy Catanzaro go up against Aliyah and Dakota Kai in Tag Team action, with Xia Li and Kacy Catanzaro picking up the major win over Aliyah and Dakota Kai. Both Dakota Kai and Kacy Catanzaro have been appearing and having in-ing matches on NXT TV as of late, while Aliyah and Xia Li have been absent, with rumors that they are set to be called up to the WWE main roster soon.

Immediately after last night's episode of SmackDown from the Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock, Arkansas went off the air, the dark main event saw Finn Balor and The Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) team to face WWE Universal Champion "The Tribal Chief" Roman Reigns and SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos (Jey and Jimmy Uso) in Six-Man Tag Team action.

The dark main event matchup ended with Finn Balor and The Street Profits getting a major win over the WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and the SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos (Jey and Jimmy Uso) via pinfall.
