-- WWE opened up the applications for their new Thunderdome feature to debut on Friday's Smackdown and the available opportunities were filled up in a matter of minutes. Slots for SummerSlam and subsequent shows will be made available later this week and beyond.
-- WWE is running a Thunderdome test tomorrow, inviting those who are on their mailing list to participate in the trial. The plan is to run a match and test out how the virtual showing will go but this will not air on the network or elsewhere and is simply an in-house test run before Friday's launch.
