WWE filed a new trademark for the term "Birthright" on Wednesday, February 11th, as reported by Fightful.com. This trademark is designated for entertainment services.
"Birthright" is the name of the faction being formed by Lexis King on WWE NXT TV. Recently, King has been assembling a group of second-generation superstars. Currently, he is teamed up with Arianna Grace and TNA International Champion Stacks, and he has also been recruiting Charlie Dempsey (son of William Regal) and Uriah Connors (son of Fit Finlay). In segments, King has referred to WWE as their “birthright.” Grace is the daughter of Santino Marella, and Stacks is Grace's storyline fiancé.
There is no information yet on when the faction will officially begin using the new name or whether additional members will join. Updates will be provided as they become available.
