WWE filed a new trademark for the term "Clash of Champions" on Monday, December 1. According to Fightful.com, the trademark is currently "awaiting examination" and is intended for various goods and services.
"Clash of Champions" was previously the name of a WWE premium live event that debuted in September 2016. The event continued annually until the last one, which was held in September 2020. There has been no announcement on whether WWE plans to revive the name, but updates will be provided as they become available.
The official website of the USPTO has noted that the trademark application has been accepted and has met the minimum filing requirements. However, it has not yet been assigned to an examiner.
